Reinforcing our Commitment

We know that education is important in changing the world. By our own life experiences, we know that it can strengthen our relationships. We are dedicated to bringing more together with the power of knowledge.

Education

Furthering our cause is the most important goal of our organization. We seek to support and empower people with knowledge, especially when we consider the survivors of our criminal justice system and its overt connection with systemic racism. Victims and defendants who  are wrongfully convicted or over-charged deserve justice. In order to accomplish this goal we must educate and empower the community. We offer advocacy mentorships, internships, workshops and community forums. All of these tools are designed to ensure that the greater good wins out over apathy and injustice. We will periodically post about upcoming events. Please email us if you are interested in getting involved.  (The images below are from a 2019 Wrongful Conviction Summit held in Ann Arbor, Michigan at Washtenaw Community College.)

Education & Outreach

Doing What’s Needed

Most of our efforts pertaining to this program involve studying new approaches and developing innovative ways to implement them. We evaluate our success in this field by gathering qualitative and quantitative data, and using that information to measure shifts and changes from our baseline measurements.
